About Estilo Clothing

The award-winning Estilo Clothing was established in 1992 and has gone from strength-strength over the past 18-years.

Estilo Clothing is a large independent brand retailer and has three branches – two in Birmingham and one in Wolverhampton. For the past four consecutive years, we have the title of best independent retailer of the year. We also won best visual shop in 2008 and 2009.

Estilo Clothing initially launched selling formal clothing, footwear and accessories for men. This includes brands such as Guide London, French Connection, Claudio Lugli, RNT, Jack & Jones and Bench.

We have recently expanded to include a casual clothing and accessory range from well-known brands such as Estilo, Grancos, Superdry, Bench, Duck & cover, Voeut, Voi jeans, Foray, and Police jeans.

The Planning

When we were approached by Estilo Clothing, the company was looking for a completely new website using the Magento platform. They wanted to have an e-commerce store as a way to mark their presence at the very competing Men’s Apparel market.

Exceeding brand standards

During our meetings with the Estilo Clothing company, we were able to get their guidelines and a better perspective on their complete business as well as their main goals. Simply put, Estilo Clothing was looking for a fun and creative website that needed to be focused on the customer. Plus, they wanted to make sure that their brand values and messages passed on to their visitors.

With this in mind, Estilo Clothing hired us to redesign their website with two main goals – improve the conversion rates as well as to have a better search optimization.

Acknowledging what Estilo Clothing was looking for, we decided to use the Magento platform since it is one of the best and more flexible platforms to do exactly what the company wanted. In addition, since we have an in-house Magento experts, we were able to add modular extensions to meet the exact requirements of Estilo Clothing.

The Solution

One of the things that we noticed at the previous Estilo Clothing website was that even though it was functional, it lacked the creative and fun parts. So, we immediately saw this was something we could help them with.

The truth is that Estilo Clothing is full of personality and we wanted to show exactly that. So, we made sure that with the new redesign we also improved the checkout process as well as the load time of the website.

One of the main requirements that the company had was the integration of inbuilt selling features as well as an improved merchandising to increase the AOV. In addition, they wanted to make sure that they had everything ready to the launch of user-generated content.

After listening to everyone who was responsible for the new Estilo Clothing design, we got exactly what the company was looking for and we were able to deliver a new design for their e-commerce website with a clear and fun look.
